Class Announcements Winter is Upon UsEarly Out Wednesdays
Begin September 14th~ students will be dismissed at 2:30. Weekly Specials PE~ on Mondays and Wednesdays (wear appropriate shoes) Library~ Tuesdays Music~ Thursdays and Fridays Daily Folders Students will bring home their red communication folder on a daily basis with letters, notifications from the office/PTO, and homework. Please go through this folder daily with your child and return it (with reading and/or math homework) back the next day. (There will not be math homework on Fridays) Book Orders Send money to school with the order form or order online by the due date. It's easy! Grab onto a good book! Research shows that letting kids choose their own books is key to raising readers. Nine out of 10 children say that they are more likely to finish books that they choose themselves.* Christmas Party and Sing Along We will be having a Christmas Sing Along on December 20th @2:00 in the gym. I have heard that Santa will be here! Our classroom Christmas Party will begin @3:00. Students will have a snack, open gifts and have an art project to work on during the party. I will be sending home a letter detailing this. Vacation Christmas vacation is Dec. 21st through Jan.3rd. Have a joyous holiday vacation.
